“That’s Rock and Roll”- Joe Ty Strikes Again

Black Top Demon front man and Nazi fellow traveler Joe Ty has struck again- attempting to set at least one person at a Saturday evening Kurt Cobain Days show in Aberdeen on fire. Someone in the crowd apparently sprayed Joe with beer.  Ty responded by taking a hairspray can tossed to him by a band member and turning it into an improvised flamethrower, which he unleashed on the offending concertgoer setting his hat and hair on fire.

Police located the highly inebriated victim at a nearby bar, smelling of scorched hair.  He refused to press charges, repeatedly saying, “That’s rock and roll!”  No other victims were located and no arrests were made.

Getting sprayed with a little beer now and then is part of the bar band gig.  It certainly doesn’t warrant setting another human being on fire.  This incident serves to highlight that, whether Joe Ty is a racist or not, he certainly behaves like a dangerous sociopath and we should all make sure that he, his band, and their violent and racist supporters are not welcome in our communities.

Police Fraternization

In this video we see Nazi skinhead fellow traveler and Black Top Demon frontman Joe Ty fighting shoulder-to- shoulder with police against BlackLivesMatter protesters-

Here we see two of those same cops apparently keeping an eye on a vehicle with the Punisher comic logo used by Black Top Demon members during Saturday evening’s action. Are the cops looking out for their supporters interests by guarding the vehicle or waiting to meet a possible informant?

This is clearly the same individual from the video taken earlier in the day- Joe Ty. Note the skinheads in the background.

Joe Ty with Nazis
In this long shot, the same individual, Joe Ty can be seen chilling with the Nazis.

It is very clearly the same individual.  For comparison note the President patch indicating Ty is the President of the Black Top Demons car club, which is visible both in the video and the stills.  The body language is also clearly the same.

In this video you can see Ty fighting with #BlackLivesMatter protesters-

A source that new Joe Ty when he was younger told us on the condition of anonymity that Ty was involved with Nazi skinhead groups in Aberdeen when he was younger and that he kept a Nazi flag in the window of his apartment during this time.  The same source said Ty has several friends of mixed races and doesn’t automatically think less of someone just because of race.  The source figures Ty is mostly into the Nazi skinhead look, the attention it gathers, and that he likes to fight.

Given his background and the images above it appears that old habits die hard.

The Joe Ty/Black Top Demon Connection

There has been a lot of comment around the internet regarding assertions by anti-Nazi protesters in Olympia, including this blog, that Black Top Demon’s front man Joe Ty and Black Top Demon supporters have ties to Nazi Skinheads threatening the Olympia’s #BlackLivesMatter movement and supporters. In the interest of fairness and transparency this is what we know-

1.) Black Top Demon Denies Supporting Nazis.  They have issued the following on their Facebook page-

We have never supported the nazis . Period

Protesters say what ever they can and spread lies to discredit us for supporting the Olympia police department.

Our members of Black Top Demon are mixed race.

We do support the olympia police department.

And how does supporting the Olympia police department make us Nazis ?

I guess if you package it right. And target the right demographic for your cause . People will believe anything.

We do NOT support Racism!
We do NOT support Racism!
We do NOT support Racism!

Our group shining example of Utopia you wish you had. We have members of all races , sexual orientation and religious beliefs in Black Top Demon.

2.) In contradiction to this, it is known that, as of May 31, Joe Ty was friends on Facebook with Jascha Manny, the skinhead who organized the incursion into Olympia on Saturday.  Here is a screen shot from Manny’s Facebook taken last night.  Ty appears at the top right of Manny’s friends list-

Manny has now deleted or locked his Facebook friends list.

3.)  Many other people on Ty’s friends list before it was made private were known Nazi skinheads, including Orion Wotan, shown below, and dozens of his friends-

4.) Ty is reported to have fought with #BlackLivesMatter protesters at actions prior to Saturday’s events.

This is what we are able to document at this point.  Judge as you will.  Further information is welcomed.
